Please consider joining us for the PI-20 OSS Community Meeting LIVE in Zanzibar, Tanzania, October 25-28, 2022, at the Park Hyatt Zanzibar for business & technical sessions, workstream workshops, collaboration and networking.
If you are unable to attend in person, you are still able to join virtually. We will be streaming our sessions live from Zanzibar. Please register using the button below whether you plan to attend in-person or online. Select your registration type at checkout.

Note: All in-person attendees will be required to test negative for Covid-19 within 48 hours of start of the Community meeting. Proof of testing will be required upon check-in. Please check your local government’s travel requirements for further information about testing types. Additionally, all attendees are requested to be mindful of social distancing during the community meeting and masking will be optional for all attendees.
Walk the Loop • Experience Instant Payments in Action
During the Community Meeting, we are also conducting a special outing that will allow the Mojaloop community to experience different financial services in Tanzania. Come “Walk the Loop” with us on Monday, October 24, 2022, for activities that will uncover the following objectives:
- Showcase current financial service products and services in Tanzania
- Enable participants to use the services
- Experience a TIPS transaction and a non-TIPS transaction (show the benefits in time and cost)
- Transact with real money and get the real customer experience
We will organize the Mojaloop community participants into breakout groups, each group will have a list of transactions to perform. Each group will have a logistical lead who will then guide the participants to different stores, shops, agents and the like and experience performing real transactions with real money in Zanzibar. You will be randomly assigned a 1-hour long tour between the hours of 2:00 – 5:00 PM.
