Paula Hunter, Executive Director of Mojaloop, joins Doc Searls and Shawn Powers on FLOSS Weekly to discuss the state of digital payments today. Mojaloop is an open-source project that provides the rails for interoperable digital payments between financial institutions, including banks and mobile phone companies. Particularly, in Africa and other parts of the world, where most people transact business in cash or typically use low-cost Android phones in multiple currencies and countries.
