Robert Ron joined PortX (formerly ModusBox) as Chief Financial Officer in March of 2019. He has spent his career advancing through accounting and finance roles, and the last 25 years building and leading teams at well-known software companies. Within finance, he guides the controller, treasury, shareholder relations, accounting, tax, and internal audit functions to pursue the company’s aggressive growth strategy and meet client and investor expectations.
Prior to PortX, Robert orchestrated the financial strategy and continuous improvement of operational processes and controls of a private equity-held software company focused on the goal of a successful exit. Under his leadership, the company tripled its revenue over his first five years and he managed its sale to another private equity firm. After doubling revenue again, Robert negotiated the sale of Automic Software and the final acquisition by CA Technologies.
