The Gambia has officially launched its first inclusive instant payment system, a national interoperability platform enabling real-time digital payments for more than three million Gambians across banks, mobile money operators, fintechs, and public institutions. Developed under the Gambia Interoperability Switch Program, the system branded BANTABA 2.0, is based on Mojaloop technology.
