Industry Veterans Victor Malu and Olivier Manzi Join the Mojaloop Foundation to Support Mojaloop’s Expansion Initiatives in Emerging Economies 

WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Oct. 18, 2023 – The Mojaloop Foundation today announced the expansion of its team as part of its commitment to accelerate its go-to-market strategy. In line with the Foundation’s mission to create a more financially inclusive global economy through Mojaloop-enabled digital financial services, the Foundation appointed two new additions to its talented team: Victor Malu as Senior Business Development Lead and Olivier Manzi as Technical Project Lead.

By hiring Victor Malu and Olivier Manzi, the organization will enhance its go-to-market functions, accelerate growth, and maintain its focus on advancing financial inclusion for all. These accomplished professionals bring with them a wealth of experience and expertise, which will undoubtedly bolster the Foundation’s efforts to develop innovative strategies to scale and promote the Mojaloop open-source software, which has the potential to advance financial inclusion in emerging economies in Asia and Africa.

Victor Malu’s 35 years of experience makes him ideally suited for a role at the Mojaloop Foundation which sits at the intersection of finance inclusion innovation, working with regulators and central bankers. His career path has taken him through the banking sector to policy creation.

Olivier Manzi has over 19 years of experience in computer engineering for financial systems, managing teams and projects tasked with deployments. He has also served as a consultant on financial systems development and has led a startup. He’s been a member of the Mojaloop Community for several years and runs Mojaloop’s proof of concept (POC) projects, which help align all national payment system stakeholders around a Mojaloop-based instant payment strategy.
